Leading up to your session, I'm here for any questions or ideas that pop into your head at any point in the process, so please don't be afraid to reach out! Once we are nearing your date, we'll hop on a final call to go over the final plans and details. If you're having a longer session or elopement/wedding, we'll go over timeline as well to make sure everything the day of flows smoothly.
If you're thinking I'm your gal, let's secure your place on my calendar. I'll send you a contract to review, and once that's signed, we'll get the retainer out of the way - this officially secures your spot! Before you commit, I'm happy to jump on a phone or video call to answer any remaining questions you may have about me, my contract, or anything else.
I can't wait to get chatting with you! Fill out the contact form on my site to start giving me an idea of what you have in mind. Once I know the type of shoot you're looking for, I'll send you a questionnaire so we can get to know each other more and so that I can even better understand your vision. Of course, feel free to ask me questions too!
If you're reading this, you're already doing great! Hopefully that means you're considering booking - and if that's the case... A) THANK YOU! and B) Continue checking out my site, including my work and FAQs. I want to make sure we're starting off on the right foot and the same page.
Depending on the package you choose, these processes may differ slightly.
Each session requires a 50% deposit, and elopements/weddings require a 30% deposit. A session / date is not reserved until contracts have been signed and the deposit has been paid. Deposits apply toward the total cost of your session and hold the agreed upon date and time for you! The final payment will occur prior to your date.
You can reschedule up to 48 hours prior to the start of your scheduled photoshoot. Deposits are non-refundable in the case of cancellations but can be applied toward your rescheduled date as long as it was rescheduled prior to the 48-hour deadline. You can find additional details about this in my contract when booking.
As a lifelong Washingtonian, I know how much rain is a possibility most of the year. Thus, I have a plan! If the forecast says it's likely to rain (more than a light drizzle), I'll contact you about 4 hours before your session to see what you'd like to do. I know it's stressful waiting, but Seattle weather changes so frequently, this ensures the best accuracy while still having time to come up with a plan. We can decide to shoot indoors - even in your home - or reschedule. Or, we can even brave the rain and get some beautiful artsy photos.
Turnaround time varies based on the type of booking and can be found in the details of each package! Note: while it can take up to the max time listed, I will provide your final galleries sooner when I can (this depends on season, shoot type, and other factors), as long as I'm sure I'm not sacrificing quality to do so!
Every shoot is so different, and SO many things can play a factor in this. After taking the photos, I select the best ones to individually hand edit, prioritizing quality over quantity. On average, I'd say 20-40 edits per hour of shooting can be typical, but I don't guarantee numbers of final edits due to all the factors there are.
I do not provide RAW/unedited photos under any circumstance. Photography is an art, and editing is a critical piece in the artistic process. I want to present my clients with the best and with work consistent with expectations. I carefully hand-edit all photos, and that has always been a part of what I provide and is a key part of my style.
I'm located in SW Seattle! I do charge a travel fee, depending on the distance of the shoot. If the location you have in mind or location I suggest has a fee, I will let you know immediately what the fee is and how it was calculated!
